I LOVE...

Ahmed Mazhar, how did I forget him. Real gentle man.
Baleegh Hamdy, I love his music, character and his deep love to Egypt. He has a song with Warda rehearsing a song in their living room, can't find it. But love it.
Mohamed Fawzy, I love his energetic soul, wide smile and brilliant songs.
Zaki Roustoum, I love his evil eyes. Beyt el-3ez movie I can't watch. I get scared. But I like 'raseef nemra khamsa' and 'al-nimr.'
Estefan Rossetti, just wild.
Akila Ratib, personal reasons.
Anwar Wajdy, used to think that I am him.
Youssef Wahbi, the best comedian.
Tahya Carioca, Wild Scorpio. Everything in her is great. Funny. Witty. Hate to see Zouzo movie because of her though.
Isma'il Yassin, puzzles me.
Roushdy Abaza, personal reasons.
Abd al-Warith 'Asar, absolute beauty in everything. Original.
Salah Mansour, Scares me. Really sacres me.
Farid Shawky, never watched their movies on Sunday when I was a kid. I feel scared. Get scared. 'Kelma wa7da aroud beyha 3alla kol el 3amaltou feiya...takh takh'
Melegy, simple evil.
Soliman Naguib, personal reasons.
Najib al-Rihany, can make me cry. Love his dark comedy.
Salah Zu-Al-Fukar, a dear neighbour.
Samia Jamal, the sad smile, love and dedication.

Another Scorpio told me that the mood of this post is: "romantic, separation anxiety, pending decisions..."!

haal,

Agree with you about Baleeg Hamdi, Adil Imam & Salah Mansour.

There's a song by Warda that I really liked. It's called Shou3oury Na7yitak. Been looking all over for it. If anybody sees it anywhere online let me know thanks.

Haal are you still waiting? Is it getting any better?

You're miserable because you want to be strong & do the right & wise thing. And cos you're an interesting, intelligent, oversensitive, overcomplex personality.

Would you change any of those things?
haal said…
Loul,

Not wanting to be wise or strong or do the right thing. I just know from experience that it is not good thing to be stepped over. Whatever will be will be!

So, yes, I would give away oversensitive overcomplex personality--if I really have them to that degree in the first place. I want to be just simple, practical, not sensitive, changing....

Tarfah,
I like them on a personal level that has nothing to do with their talent although they are great! But they appeal to me as persons from what I have heard about them and touched me on some level.

nice smile, MO. Mo for Moses!

haal,

Not wanting to be stepped over is the right thing.

No point in doing things that make you miserable if you don't feel good about yourself. At least you should be allowed to feel like a martyr:)

Best of luck. Hope all turns out well for you. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

P.S. Interesting that you think you're not changing. You never came across as someone who was inflexible or rigid or unchangeable.

Loul,
No I dont enjoy feeling like a martyr actually, and thus dont seek this feeling. Doesnt make me feel better or worse. I dont believe in this concept in general, not even on the religion level so far.

And I compromise a lot in general, and can go a step lower just to mend things, but until a point that I know below it I will lose my self-respect.

As for 'not changing', there are different levels to this word. I am not 'hawa'iya' in the sense that I don't love and hate en passant. There is always a sense of dedication to whatever I do or believe, and I get myself attached to whatever I choose to commit to doing or endeavouring. And this is what I mean by not changing---not switching roads at the first bump,so when I choose something I give it all my effort 100%.

of course, this is the bright side of it, there is of course another face.

Haven't smoked all day. It's 6:00pm now. This is a record for me. Never tried to quit smoking while under stress. For me that's real Jihad. Should be half way through a packet by now. When not under stress it's quite easy actually.

But doing it now makes me feel strong & in control. If I have to suffer I like it to be in a good cause. So am getting some self-satisfaction out of it.

That's what I meant by feeling like a martyr. Don't mean it in the dogmatic, frothy-mouth, wild-eyed sense.Just feeling that you're doing the right thing at some personal cost.

"of course, this is the bright side of it, there is of course another face."

Was thinking it sounds good to me when I read this. What's the other face?Surely giving your 100% to something you freely chose is a good thing?
