ISLAMIC SHOP
Never thought I was going to enter this islamic store, or so does everyone call it in the area. Al-tawheed we al-Nour. It was quite an experience. I am heading to France this week so M. asked me for hunting pants that she can wear under her cloths in winter. She wanted them in pure cotton, and pointed me to this tawheed place. So, there I went. Upon entering the place, I thought I was transformed into this new world. A hive, except it is a lazy one. Only crowded. All the sellers are men with the praying sign on their forehead, some with long beards, the plupart majority wearing greyish short pants and weird colour shirts. You can't miss but feel that they all look the same. Of course, the sound of 'iza'et el coran al kareem' was screaming everywhere. Coran, ahadeeth, preaching, all what you want. Al-sharief, no defending of oneself. I was just puzzled, but Mo explained some. So yeah, EVEN Mo understood!:)
Ok, maybe faulty grammar and the occasional typo can be somewhat excused, but there is no reason for someone to misspell every second word, given the ubiquity of online (and offline) dictionaries and spell-checkers. If one cares about communicating their ideas, I think it's only logical that one should put some time and effort into it.
As long as we are on the topic of putting effort into communication, let me extend this installment of (solicited) bitching to cover one more point. Judging from the time-stamps on some comments, the sheer speed with which they are exchanged is amazing -- especially given the length of some of them. It could only mean one of two things: either one knows what they are talking about, and therefore would have the arguments handy, which is hard to believe is the case all the time. Or, it could be that one's comment is just a knee-jerk reaction, with no regards for the accuracy and clarity of their arguments, and this is precisely what I find objectionable. (Is it me, or is the latter kind more abundant these days?)
One more thing, You guys call this venting? You .. make .. me .. sick! I, for one, haven't got my money's worth yet. Comon, make it interesting!

If, afterwards, you still have any unresolved issue with what I wrote, please do me a favor and point exactly to what you think is overstated, or superficial, or doesn't deserve a mention -- sparing me the wishy-washy overall assessment, and the meaningless question-mark(s).
I remember a person who would get mad at people if they capitalize the first letter of her name! I personally don't like people not capitalizing my M.
